Yoga and jiu-jitsu complement each other. There are several reasons why fighters should do yoga on a regular basis. The benefits of doing yoga consistently over time greatly enhance a fighter's physical abilities. Some of these improved abilities can include flexibility and balance, strength, joint health, awareness/focus, breath control and mental toughness. By doing yoga, you will become much more in tune with your body, mind and spirit which can translate into you becoming a better fighter.
